Change to earthlink email addresses – 6 Aug 2011

August 6, 2011

To meet our evolving business needs and resolve issues with the current earthlink email servers, we will no longer be supporting the earthlink.com.au mailboxes as of 31 Oct 2011. This means all earthlink.com.au email addresses will stop working after 31 Oct 2011.

What do you need to do?
Nothing at the moment. We are giving you advance notice so that you have time to think about how you want to manage the changeover with people and businesses sending you emails.

What are the next steps and when?
We will create a new email box for you as close as possible to your existing name (eg yourname@rbia.com.au) and will confirm the email address with you in mid-late August. To ensure a smooth transition, we will also copy any email from our earthlink mailbox to this mailbox and will continue to forward any emails sent to your earthlink mailbox to your new address up to 31st October 2011.
Early September we will send you an email with the settings you will need to enter into your PC email program.
Please remember: you will not receive any emails to the earthlink mailbox after the 31 October 2011.
